SUPPORTING THE WARRIOR SINCE 1987

Charter was founded in 1987 by Colonel William C. Comee, US Army retired, to support DOD operations and pursue telecommunications business opportunities in Central America.

By the early 1990s, Charter personnel were operating not only in Latin America, but also in the Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Its customer base has since expanded beyond the DOD to include other US Government agencies, foreign governments, and international corporations.

During Charter's 30 year existence, its employees have used their wide array of talents to successfully complete a number of unique and challenging projects:

Maintained and operated US military message centers in Central America.

Owned and operated "phone home" centers in remote parts of Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

Sub-contractor to VitaCom Corporation during construction of remote area
telecommunications network for Honduran National Telephone Company.

Operated and maintained U.S. Government communication centers in Somalia during Operation Provide Promise.

Supported NATO operations as sub-contractor to Harris during construction and operation of mobile satellite communication sites in Bosnia.

Maintained all military IT assets at Soto Cano AB, Honduras as sub-contractor to C4 Plans Sub-contractor to Harris on USSOUTHCOM C4S contract.

Provided technical support to numerous civilian telecom companies operating in Latin America.

Maintenance support contractor to Sirius radio in Panama.

Supported numerous classified U.S. government projects.

Sub-contractor to Harris during construction and operation of Central American Regional Communication Network.

Sub-contractor to Harris on the ITES Enterprise Services contract for JTF-B at Soto Cano AB, Honduras.

Charter's annual revenue currently exceeds $3.5M and the company is actively supporting business activities in excess of $100M.
